Website Submission Guidelines The following guidelines were created to simplify the submission process of articles, forms, event notices, photos, etc that are required to be on the Saugerties AYSO Website. Content: The Saugerties AYSO Website is a means of communication to all members for vital and helpful information. Article submissions will be limited to a professional nature that helps promote and expand members’ knowledge base or news that reports on chapter happenings. The content editor reserves the right to reject any submissions for any reason. Advertisements are not accepted on the website. Information: All information must be submitted electronically, in text format. PDF formatted information will only be accepted for content that is "notice form" and is designed to be printed out (ie: posters, schedules, postings, handouts....). All information, grammar, dates, etc. is required to be verified and correct prior to submission. The Communications Committee will not be reviewing submitted information for accuracy. Information must be submitted in the format to be posted. The Communications Committee will not format submitted information. Graphic/s locations should be included in the formatted submission. Include captions for any photo images including names of recognizable people. Reference image file name in the formatted copy. Images: All images are required to be submitted in JPG, or GIF format. Image file names should correspond with written descriptions. Timeline Information should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance. Submission: Only Saugerties AYSO board members may make submissions. If you are not a board member, please contact the correct board member to get your content submitted. All content should be submitted to the Saugerties AYSO webmaster along with a Cc: to the Saugerties AYSO regional commissioner and any board member that is directly involed with the content. Failure to comply with the above guidelines will result in a delay and your content may not be posted in time. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. |
