Saugerties Soccer Shin guards....

Shin Guards are the major protective equipment used in soccer. Coaches cannot permit children to practice or play without shin guards; if your child shows up without shin guards, he/she will not be allowed to play. Socks must be worn over shin guards.

Since shin guards are an important piece of safety equipment, we recommend you make sure your childs shinguards are the correct size, and fit properly to give the maximum protection from a kick to the shins.

Remember, a kick to the shins hurts a lot and could break the tibia bone. Please make sure your child has the correct equipment to prevent injury.

Since there is no sizing standard for shin guards, the chart below should be used only as an estimation guideline. Be sure to try the shin guards on and make sure they fit properly. If there are any doubts to the fit, be sure to ask questions before purchasing the guards.
