Saugerties Soccer needs Referees!
*Everybody* (ages 10 and up) is encouraged to volunteer, especially Women and Youths. When women and youths officiate at the games, it shows the players that all people can participate and enjoy the game of soccer. No prior refereeing knowledge is required. Plus, you'll impress all your friends with the referee shirt and whistle that you'll also get. WE NEED REFEREES! Please consider spending a little of your time becoming, or helping your children become a referee! If you don't think you can do it please take a look at the Why I Can't Be A Referee page (it's fun!). If you are interested in learning more then please, read on, and go through the links at the bottom of the page. For becoming a referee, we will give you a Referee Jersey, a whistle, a stopwatch and a special tossing coin for starting the games. For answers to many of your questions, check out our Ref FAQ's.
