Saugerties Soccer News....

   Survey

Now is your chance to tell us what a great job we did. For those others; you can help us make the league better by telling us how we can improve. Please fill out this short survey, so we can see how we are doing.
There is also a space where you can add your name to volunteer and help us in the future.
Take the survey.

   Kids Zone
Saugerties Soccer Complex is a designated Kids Zone Area.

Please follow the rules while in the Kids Zone. For a list of the rules you can check out the Kids Zone page.

We are only asking you to control your behavior for the time you are at the fields. Please set a proper example for the children. If behavior is exhibited that is not appropriate for the Kids Zone, you will be asked to comply. Those that choose not to comply, will be asked to leave the complex.

     Division Rules

Do you know how many children should play on the U12 team? Do you know what size ball the U8 children use? Do you know how long your team should play before they take a break?

There are different rules for each division. Most of the important rules are the same, but modifications have been made for each age bracket. Wanna see those rules? Check out the Division Rules page.

     Volunteers Wanted

Saugerties AYSO Soccer needs your help. The overall success of last season’s recreational program was largely the responsibility of a small handful of dedicated people. Should these few people no longer be able to continue, the program itself would be in serious jeopardy as very few others currently have an understanding of how the program runs.
As the recreational program is growing in size, more adult involvement is needed. No soccer knowledge is necessary. Working with the younger children is very rewarding, and your child would love the fact that you are there to help! If you want to help make a difference, please contact Lorrie at - dmaher3@hvc.rr.com

   Online Certification and Training
New volunteers are required to complete Safe Haven certification. We offer the safe haven class before the start of the season, but you can also take the program online. You will need your AYSO ID number. Then, just go to this site and sign in http://www.aysotraining.org/index.htm.
If you do not know your ID number, contact Karin Squires.

This site http://www.aysotraining.org/index.htm is also used for various other AYSO training. Sign-in and check out all the programs.

Saugerties AYSO / Challenger Soccer Camp

The 2008 soccer camps were a great success. Everyone who attended was very happy and enloyed themselves. The fact that there were so many compliments, it seems we have finally found a company that fills our needs.
For that reason, we are happy to announce that we will go with the Challenger Soccer Camps again in 2009.

Registration for the camps, is now open. Go to the Soccer Camp page for all the details.
